God chose these lepers to be useful tools to bring to pass His will as declared by Prophet Elisha in 2 Kings 7:1: “…Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria”
God made the enemy to flee their camps and the 4 lepers found themselves in a deserted camp filled with lots of foods, drinks, silver, gold and clothing.
They took many of these goods for themselves but suddenly discovered they will not be fulfilling their God-given purpose if they don’t pass the good information across to their countrymen back at homer where there is severe famine.
They ended up passing this information across and helped ended famine in their country. Though, nothing was mentioned in the bible again about these lepers, however, they were fulfilled because they fulfilled their God-given purpose.
Are you doing right? Are you fulfilling purpose? Are you passing the good information around about your purpose on this earth? You will not be doing right if you are not fulfilling your God-given purpose on this earth! Remember that it is more than misdirected church activities – It is the reason why God created you and planted you on this earth!
