This story is about The Battle against Lucifer. And the hold he has on our lives.
He who nearly won was jealous of a greater God. At first he was the most beautiful and intelligent angel that there ever was at least until he was cast down. He thought that it was a bad idea that God wanted his son to become man. So he gathered up a third of angels to try to conquer God and throw him from his throne but it caused a war in heaven and he was cast down into a place called Hell. Unfortunately he has a strong presence here on earth with a passion to turn men against God and to hurt. He lures us with temptation his most powerful tool and gets satisfaction when we lose. Whenever I am lured and give in I give into his pleasure and that's where he wins. I know that I can be strong and not give in even if it means quitting gambling forever. He plays upon hopes and dreams. He knows the trick of the trade he is clever in many ways. Sometimes I see him when I go to the mall as I look upon lures of many sorts. Gold Rings, and pricey clothes so much to be tempted by even on TV. He is stealing out of the mouths of babes he don't care about you and me. His voice often crosses my thoughts and I do my best to fight it off. I strongly sided with God because he don't get the satisfaction when I hurt and don't tempt me with such things. Together we will cast him down again and again into that burning bottomless pit with a third of cast down angels scorning him.
