ever is a long time

can we forever like us, like the person we are,

like the daily walks we take, without thinking about the persons we have stepped on,

can we look at a person in the face and tell the truth,

or is it a lie that leads us to think all we need is untruth for someone to like or love us,

forever is a very long time, can we be forever who we are,

is it this who we protray, that makes a get the job, the date and the friendships that we have,

can we look at us and know that life is but a second, minute, and hour, that we take as forever,

yes i see, it is the can we get's that get us trapped in the lies, that take us to the point of no return.

the lie within, forever is a very long time,
