As the coffin closes, it whispers even dead man has his secrets, a dead man tales drifts out into the open, escaping what positive image of this man was left, his soul cascades along the hill slide cliffs, rasping for the air that is no longer their more to life is what is wanted, along deep inner breath comforts the shadowy eye’s of life’s long journey, as the insanity too lies is gone, and the secrets that once was is no more, for what was hidden for decades is know out in the open, protecting what was an is, cries of why, unanswered question’s the lie that held a family together, an the shoulder to lean on was no more, while the arms that held it memories tight gentle losing the grip of all this mans path.
Beyond reason was more then what could be seen, the cold dampen breeze fell to do its deed, as he lowered his head to plead his case amongst the one’s that left before him, as the pages of his diary spilled the path of life, every step he made was in the writing down, no mistakes all the words he ever spoken was their in black and white, spelling the truth and lie’s, he whispered aloud, he spoke calmly, stating his case even dead man has his secret’s, a reason beyond what shadows me, day is what day is, but night is what long frightens me, and that is my defense, while turning away he stepped back into place even dead man has his secret, his reason.
