"Does not Deus supersede the magical realms?"

"We have the discretion to challenge Deus on such matters."

He said that so matter of fact it caught me off guard. "And you took this matter to Deus himself?"

"Heh, heh, heh. No, I didn't. But who I represent did, they petitioned, and won approval. I am just the messenger, and the high officer who was brought here to take you into custody."

"Suppose I refuse? My powers are augmented to the point that very little can be done to me."
