BOSS IN THE ANIMAL WORLD

About sixty years ago I was an only child of wealthy parents. My lovely Dad use to call me princess. Of course I had never heard th word sex. Such words were not used in those days. OK I was sixteen years old sitting in the kitchen listening to our house-
keeper sing.My very old, lovely granny 'enjoyed ill health' and usually stayed in bed but she was my best friend. While I was listening to the singing I watched an old cow in the barnyard stretching way out across the rail fence to reach a sweet green branch of a peach tree. She was very intent on reaching that lovely spring sprig and seemed not to notice a big black bull, Tom, approach her. So Tom came along behind her and instantly she let both hind legs strike him violently broadside on his poor head. You could hear the blow a half block away.He shook his poor head and departed up the land still shaking it. She did not even look back at any time. I went to see granny and asked her about that brutual kind of treatment. She started to laugh, much to my astonishment, kept on laughing for a very long time.Then she wiped the tears from her eyes and said, Now I'll tell you something about the animal world and always remember it.' The female is always boss, always was and always will be, that is the way Our Heavenly Father made them and if silly women would go by that law they would not need to run to the hospital all their lives' Well it took me several years to enjoy that  joke and poor Tom did not enjoy it at all. I wish more people would remember this. What do you think?
