Shutting your sailor out will only send them searching for another ocean side.

 I don’t recall my actual date of creation, but yet of course we really do not exist as earthly creatures, we are only  in the minds of the sailors who have convinced their selves that we are out there, in the deep, deep waters, just waiting to be discovered. 

                This is a belief that is only understood between mates~n~lovers of those who live between ports~n~voyages of oceans and seas. So, here we are, another sailor’s ladies of the sea.

                For years, sailors have spoken, tales of us are endless, then there are those who fantasized and some have even sworn to have seen us. There are some that might have seen us and they are just not speaking up.

                Main reason being since we are part of the sea, but yet human like feelings is that we are the only ones who really truly understand the love and need of the sea, to be on it, to feel her and hear the waves talk.

                There always will be a special bond between the sailors and I just as there are between sea mates, brotherhoods; bonds that will never be broken.  Most humans have a land mate, soul mate, but, sometimes no matter how much love you have for them, they do not have the love as you do about the waters. Sure, they will go out with you sometimes, but they really don’t know what it means to feel the wind blowing in your hair, while making tattle tale sounds coming from the wires singing while taking us from reality, yet keeping us aware and in touch with reality by splashing salt on our skin, stinging just a little and then we lick our lips and savor the salty taste.

                It is sad when our mates of our choosing do not understand that special bond between man and sea. Some get angry and some are furiously jealous. I can assure you, there is nothing physical between a sailor and the lady of the sea. There is nothing to fear, but you must let your sailor keep his key to the waters for when you take a sailor’s loves then you have started to slowly kill them inside.

                When you love a sailor, you must always remember to keep your promise, it is very important in order to spend many years with your sailor, for he knows he can trust you, to always let them sail when the needs arrive; whether it is for pleasure or business.

                But, there is a rule also for the sailor mate also, and that is not fault your mate for not having the deep love you may have for the waters, but take time to maybe share both worlds to help you understand why you love it so much. Try to show them the beauty of the waters and help them find the joy that we feel when out being free, somewhere you can be yourself. 

                This is what I hope to do, in my voyages, is to help the ones that have shut out their mates, for they don’t have the love of the waters or maybe just not as strong as yours.
