How many of us remember that we had no place to turn but to God. Our life were in a mud pit. We needed to start over in Christ. No matter what we went through before we came to Christ we know now that we are in Christ.
Philippians 3:13-14 ( NKJV )
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
The hardest thing about being a Christian is keeping your eyes towards God. We get so easily distracted in this fallen world. We need to have our mind set on the things that will glorify God. But it’s hard when you’re so involved in your own life and whatever makes you happy we need to remember where we came from before we came to Christ. It’s hard at times but Jesus is always there with his strength to carry us on.

No matter what we went through before we came to Christ we know now that we are in Christ. Forgetting may be hard at times, but that is what we need to do. A newborn baby does not know anything and is learning constantly. When he is uncomfortable he cries. We as Christians when we get uncomfortable we need to cry out to God. We are creating new when we come to Christ. So we need to put our mind on pressing ahead towards the goal that God has set before us.
