When my younger brother was a freshman at West Virginia University in 1977, to help pay for his expenses he took a job as a bus boy at the Lakeview Inn and Country Club.
There was a $1000 a plate fundraising dinner there featuring Reagan that year and Tim got to meet him and listened to his speech. He became a lifelong Republican as a result.
