A Delightful Moment

By L. K. Craft

Shyly, he gazes across the room.

Slowly, he bites his bottom lip, as if to inflict a little pain while enjoying me.

Our eyes briefly connect.

Quickly, he retreats by looking down.

Intrigued, I move about the exhibit thinking . . .

His captured smile beckons to be sorted out.

Many years later, still sorting . . .
