Wake up! What? The alarm clock has not been ringing. The sun isn't even up. I don't live on a farm. And why am I so damn hot?
I lie there imagining every bill I have not yet paid. My anxiety grows, my heart beat becomes rapid; getting back to sleep is not going to happen. I just know it.
I stick my foot out of the covers, trying to cool down. My mind drifts away from the unpaid bills for a second; and I take a long deep breath.
I begin to feel cooler, calmer. I try to sleep again, but it's no use. So, I think about the day which will begin in a few hours.
Without realizing it my mind begins to wander down a path of dreamy contentment, peace, and restfulness. I am sleepy. I am getting sleepy. I'm asl....
Bong bong bong bong! Time to get up!
