I will tell you something…
A long time ago, when I was just a boy
I had the fear, of the darkness
I did not know what I feared?
I felt alone with this secret
Soon I could not sleep
The darkness was all around me
I did not know what to do…?
Until, I was so terrified!
I called upon the darkness and ask
The spirits to be with me and to show me
What is it I feared…?
-What is it you feared?
“Being alone…”
The darkness, is emptiness…
This is why I feared it!
Confront your fears
Ask the spirits to help you
And guide you…
You need not to be alone
We are with you…!
And you are strong!
Use your heart to guide you…
-Not your head!

It's unusal for a fish to be afraid of the dark. After all, most of their life is lived in the darkness of the sea. Fear not my friend, for creatures of the sea abound you. And there is one such creature that lives between two worlds. She craves the darkness, its mystery entices her, and she thrashes amid the waves, diving into the depths of her soul, rising to the height of her light, she will rescue you. Nice work!

I had the fear of the dark most of my life. I find the thoughts expressed here interesting since the next greatest fear was being alone. Now that I have lived that life I fear very little. Good write.
