Old Woman's Advice On Love

Me someday as an old woman ;)

Old woman's advice to young woman, who in the way some men can't keep their wolo's in their pants,  cannot keep her heart in her chest....

"It's ok honey, when your heart falls, there's no catching it, so don't bother. Just let it fall, you'll be able to pick it up later.  In the meantime, your heart will most likely land at the foot of someone who doesn't know WHAT to do with it.  But don't worry, this person will pick it up, dust it off and look at it.  This person will then fumble with it and fiddle with it and if this person's bored,  he'll throw it around like a  football, back and forth, high and low and ALL around, 'til it lands in some dark mud, worm-filled grass and in certain parts of the country, horse shit.  After this fun, your heart will be pretty tired, a bit bruised and broken here and there.  You'll then nurse your heart back to health with lots of self-pity, too much vodka and enough dark chocolate to choke the Easter Bunny.  Then, because your heart has no brain,  it will fall again and again, you won't be able to catch it.  So don't bother.  Just let your heart fall and pray that the next person your heart falls for doesn't play football with it or douse it in horse shit."

Rose, Wow, it's been a while...so happy to see you back in AD. I knew from the first sentence that it was you and your pen. This reminds me so much of some of the stuff you use to post...nice work.
Cheers,
Dan
