I took a deep breath, to see what it would bring, the scent of roses dead long ago, but it’s fragrance still living in my mind. I beheld it’s beauty as it yet was. It’s touch seemed cloudy and foreign. I thought about the life of Jesus, and his words and life jump out at me, I find my self thinking of him all the time now. If not one miracle that he has performed in my life another in someone else's. He inspires me to pray for others, I see the cause and effect. The cause, seeing a brother or sister hurt, or struggling, the effect knees hit the floor. A call to the Lord to intervene, and it is the same picture over and over, a beautiful work of art. I see the blessing of being made, the discovery of a foundation laid long before I was born, then finding hidden treasures buried within me. Circumstances may bring something’s to light, but most of the time it is his love that draws you out! To climb atop the pinnacle of fear, and triumph in the human condition, everywhere you look the miracle of God’s hand at work, yes he authored the human condition, spoke life to it. Over saw our fall, and had a remedy all ready for the perfect time. I look at my hands and think of all the things that they can accomplish, and in the same thought, all that they cant do. Then cant I think that I am nothing in the scheme of things and make all the difference when he says I must. I hear him when he says move, even quickly. I see the beauty in his every move, I have heard him when he moved in front of me to catch me before I fell. His precautions prove that man kind is no match for him, Yet he loves us with every breath! Have you ever thought about the touch of a loved one’s hand in yours, that even when they have gone on to glory, you never forget their touch, isn’t it still there right now, or the smell of their hair. Is this not forever! Who but a forever God could do these things. Scolding us in one breath and comforting us in another? Disappearing from our presence only to appear at our side. A glory that can fill a room, and the presence to know that we cant take all of him at once! I am talking of the Love that only God and Lord Jesus can give, For in all the great living things that appear before us, and the landscapes , or picture scapes, as I like to call them, That light a recognition deep within my very soul that only God could do this, for us. Just a thought!
