One day a farmers donkey falls down into the farmer's dissused well. The animal cries piteously for hours, as the miserly farmer tries to figure out what to do about it. Finally he decides that the old donkey isn't worth the expense of saving, so he decides to fill up the old well with dirt, burying the donkey. He then invites all his neighbours around to help him fill in the well and they soon get stuck in. As they shovel the dirt into the well though, the donkey simply shakes it off his back and climbs onto the dirt that falls at his feet, lifting himself up with every shovel full. Some hours later when the well is almost full of dirt, everyone is amazed when the donkey steps from the top of the well and happily trots off. LIFE---is going to shovel dirt on all of you sometimes. The trick is to be like the donkey and shake it off. Then take a step upward. Never give up, and soon you will be out of your well, just like the donkey. But first off, you >MUST< remember these four vital rules for you to be happy. 1/ Free your heart from hatred---and forgive. 2/ Free your mind from worry---most never happen. 3/ Live simply---and appreciate what you have. 4/ Give more---expect less. NOW___ ENOUGH OF THAT BULLSHIT The donkey came back in a rage, and bit that farmer who was going to bury him alive. The gash from the bite wound got infected and the farmer lay in agony for one week before his heart gave out and he died. THE MORAL of this story is---When you do something wrong. Don't try to cover your ASS, cause' it may just come back and bite you... Gerald J Tate
