How a short story made us keep writing and pen our first novel- "Dream Readers: CONTACT" has been placed under the heading of General Literature Fiction. Some of the different genres represented in the work are: fantasy, thriller, action/adventure and love story.
We wanted a mixed bag of themes to display the emotional subplots in the writing.
The setting of the work is in present day and it is written in present tense. We felt that back telling the story would not represent the intensity of the work. There are no "he said, she said" types of remarks.
--Jason Pastor is the name of my main character
Jason is selected to be a part of a faction of human beings (Dream Readers) that work for God to rid the world of evil. He will go through many trials that will ultimately lead him to make a choice between the love of his life and his love of humanity. He will have to learn some special tricks to battle the evil of this world and beyond.

"Honestly, I thought it was a great story. Great, believable characters. I liked the whole concept of "dream readers" being put on Earth to help do God's work. Also, anytime Satan's butt can be kicked is a definite bonus as well. lol...I would have to say overall it was a good book and I did enjoy reading it. Is there going to be another book? Will it be a series?"
