YORK designated Father's Day, June 17th, for Rebecca, me, and Terry Barrett to view the Proksch plate that was mounted on wooden saw horses in front of his garage. Without a roped off area, it still could have been the Capitol rotunda minus the honor guard, because for all intents and purposes the piano's iron clad plate had succumbed to a less than ideal welding.
