A story about a woman who tries to secure love, romance and commitment all in a weekend. She then discovers love begins with loving yourself.

"Stanley, it is Saturday morning let's go to breakfast," said Joyce.

"Okay I'll shower,said Stanley.

"I will take a shower after you."

"Sounds great."

Joyce and Stanley left the suite to head over to the breakfast dining area.

"This place is wonderful.  It reminds me of a ski lodge, too it has a rustic setting.  I'll go over to the breakfast bar.  Oh! boy Joyce its so mmuch food to choose from," said Stanley.

"You're not kidding," replied Joyce.

"The selection included bacon, eggs, sausages, fresh fruits, cerals and much more.  I'll have to try them all.  I wouldn't want any of this food going to waste," said Stanley.

"Stanley with you around I, really don't think this will occur."

"Ha Ha a good one Joyce."

"Well I have to pitch one every now and then.  Stanley, after breakfast will you consider joining me for a walk in the woods  We can't enter the suite anyway.  The housekeeper is cleaning?"

"Joyce I would love to take a stroll with you through the woods."

Joyce and Stanley began their walk.

"Wow! These trees are beautiful.  Look a oak tree.  Joyce, water truly amazes me."

"Why is that Stanley."

"First of all it flows with no resistance at all.  But if only people would learn to flow like water all of their problems would work out smoother."

"Stanley, this is the happiest I recall ever seeing you.  The optimistic side of you is now flowing and I find it very attractive."

"You think."

"Of course I like it.  I feel gentle and loving energy around you. It's nice you're talking with me and not at me. Stanley when you and I communicate instead of assuming then things are understood with clarity. I hate when you assume something then it turns out to be false."

"Yeah! That has happened often," said Stanley.

"Indeed.  Psst! come closer tilt your ear towards my mouth.  Allow me to let you in on a secret.  Don't assume anything because it makes an ass out of you and an ass out of me.  Which spells the word Assume,"said Joyce.

"Ha Ha I love your wit."

"Goodness it's sunny and warm today," said Joyce.

"I wonder what's the temperature right now."

"Well Stanley according to the wheather report, the temperature is eighty-five degrees."

"That's extremely hot.  Baby would you like to go for a swim?"

"Surely, how about this afternon."

"It's a date," said Stanley.  Joyce and Stanley resume talking

"Stanley let's continue our previous conversation."

"What conversation was that?"

"Do you remember me asking you what it is you're seeking in a realtionship?"

"Yes! I do.  But you go first Joyce."

"Ok I want a man to respect me and treat me like a lady at all times."

"That sounds like what every woman wants."

"What do you want Stanley."

"I would like to marry someday." Stanley's evil thoughts began to surface. He thought to himself I don't want to marry you.

"Marriage would be a good thing.  I find this quite interesting you would say this.  We never discuss this subject."

Joyce didn't have a clue that Stanley really hated her.  He had plans to bring her down.

"Joyce before dinner let's meet at the pool at four o'clock."

"Alright I'll meet you here at four o'clock.  In the mean time I'll go back to the suite to have lunch, then treat myself to a nap."

"Fine I'm going for a swim," said Stanley.

'Enjoy your swim."

"Have a sweet nap."

Stanley continued to stay around the pool fantasizing about what a good life he had.  "Boy this is the life.  The pool water temperature is just right.  Here I am Stanley lounging in a beautiful pool.  A nearby Jacuzzi, good food, too a lovely suite and plenty of food, that I didn't pay for.  When Joyce comes for her swim I'll go back to the suite and take two of her diamond rings and five hundred dollars in cash.  She's so dumb she'll never know."

Ha Ha laughed Stanley.  Stanley wasn't aware that Joyce was very intuitive.  She prayed and fasted a lot.  So while Stanley was plotting so was Joyce.
