A humorous work of micro-fiction concerning a dragon, a boy, and some pokey scissors.
There once was a boy who found a brick and one day that brick turned into a dragon.
The dragon breathed fire and melted some paper clips and they turned into some pokey scissors that were really sharp and pointy.
Eventually, the scissors rusted and became really dull and crappy so the dragon burnt them and they melted and turned into a teapot.
He made two cups of tea, but when he tried to make another two cups at the same time, the teapot exploded and the dragon turned into a raven and the raven turned into a bagel and then the boy ate it.
Deputy Dave Jenkins sets out to find the murderer of the local high school principal, aided by a voice from the grave that is sometimes helpful and sometimes misleading.
"Murder isn't usually this funny."
