My best attempt to play on words...and really say something
I woke up today
things were going my way.
Everything was all right
I slept well last night.
No bad dreams,
don't know what that means
but I don't care
I got clean underwear
I put on a shirt
that says I am a flirt
but really i am not
my lady is hot
got no need for that game
you dont know my name.
I get up I get down,
I smile and I frown;
I get low, I get high,
I say hello and goodbye
to the people I meet
as I go down the street
I do what I'm told
as I quickly get old
I wonder if there's more
or if they've made me a whore
in the meantime though
there's no place to go
no one makes a big change
the worlds still open range
its all cause and effect
no one seems to detect
that we fight and we kill
its all still a thrill
endless war games
we forget all the names
of those on a side
and those along for the ride
Until we all choose to quit
this world ain't worth a shit....
