I need some help. Is it worth finishing???? Please let me know your thoughts.

 Introduction:

Change is inevitable and for all those who think there is something to do about it. You’re wrong. Although we may think that we can make a difference in any and everything in all actuality that is not true . Unfortunately I had to learn that the hard way. I also had to learn that life is not easy and everyone gets burned at some point in time. As I grew up many people reiterated those words to me multiple times, but being young, and naïve I never listened. That’s why I picked the roads I did in life, and let me tell you. Those were some bumpy roads. Ohh By the way my name is ---------- ---------. I believe I grow up at the age 12 when I found myself homeless and with no one in my corner. I left home because I just couldn’t take the bullshit anymore. I refused to allow someone to put their nasty hands on me especially when they have no right to. I’ve always said you don’t touch me and I won’t touch you. But for some reason people believe everyone is there child. When I left home the last words I heard. Was “when you fall on your face, don’t look back!!”  Good news is I’m now 25 and I haven’t looked in that direction since. So let me tell you how I grow up at 12.

 Chapter 1

“Aye yo D wake up!” That was my rude wake up this morning at 4:30 am. “D! I know you hear me wake up, wake up!”  Finally I rolled over to look right in the face of my little brother Tae. “What do you want? Can’t you see I’m sleeping?” My little brother is my heart we did everything together. Now my little brother was a handsome little man. He was only 12 and already stood at 5’10. He was tan skin and had clear green bedroom eyes. Eyes that could make a grown women drop her pants with a wink. 12 and ladies in their 20's were trying to get him. But I wasn't having it! It didn’t help that he knew he looked good and took pride in it. As young as we were he made sure he stayed in shape, made sure that every time he left the house he was fresh, and of course had a scent that would lead you right to him. His name is Tae’quan but we all called him Tae for short. Ironic enough I call him little brother and we are only 2 months apart.      As far as I can remember nothing has been normal about my life or my family. Tae and I are half brother and sister but that didn’t mean squat to us we were raised as bother and sister. We shared the same father and that is a story to tell. Our mothers loved each other and I truly mean that. They met in High School and were inseparable. But as I stated change is inevitable.

“Tae its still dark out, what time is it?” “Its 4:30 but you gotta get up, we gotta go.” “What do you mean we gotta go?” Only seconds later did I hear clashing coming from the living. Glass shatters and screams. I jumped out bed “Tae in the closet!!” “I’m not getting in that fucking closet!” Now my little brother has cursed in front of me many times but I never heard him curse at me or be so demanding before. It kind of froze me for a moment until I snapped back into reality. “Tae I don’t have time for this get in the closet and don’t come out until I and only I come back to get you. I have to put an end to this!!” Tae looked at me and took a deep breathe and slowly set in the closet. “I want or family back” he said. “I know” and I closed the door and took a deep breathe, I had to prepare myself for what was about to happen. To give you a little background my mother is getting her ass whooped right now by this man she calls her husband. But I know its either me or her and that is my mother. See when my mother and ----- first got married we were something like the Brady Bunch, one of the happiest family you could imagine. It was great to get out the hood and feel like a normal suburban family. Little did I know these people deal with more shyt then we do in the hood in so ways!

I walked out the room and closed the door behind me. I could barely see because there were no lights on. But I could see the glass shimmering on the ground as I got closer to my mothers door. As I open the door I can see my mother on the floor covered in blood. I wasn’t sure if it was hers or his but she was covered and I’m pretty positive it was hers.  I didn’t see ------- at all I figured he was in the bathroom. I rushed to my mother’s side to see if she was ok as she was lying there taking short breathes. “Mom are you ok?” She softly whispered “Mommies ok baby go back to bed” “Ma I’m not leaving you please get up lets get outta here., We don’t need him or this s-----”

Before I could get the words out my mouth I feel to the floor. See this is a lesson
