CINDERELLA’S SECOND MARRIAGE
"Life sucks!"
Sitting on a stool at the corner cafe, Nancy threw aside the romance magazine she’d been reading, nearly knocking over her coffee cup. She never dreamed her marriage would end. Her mother had promised that the right man would sweep her off her feet and they’d live happily ever after just like in the movies.
Obviously, Harold hadn’t grown up watching the same movies—or even grown up! Even though it had been over a month, the painwas still as fresh as if it had been yesterday. A sob caught in her throat as she remembered walking in on him with his latest bimbo. In her very own bed no less! Her face warmed as humiliation and shame washed over her.
