While Mary Lynn calls this a short story, I find I think of it more as a poem... with the rhythm of the words, she sets the pace, sharing in a provocative manner her innermost thoughts of... frustration... and more. I immediately had an emotional response to her words and, as I often do with poetry or similar verses, I felt and wrote an immediate response. I think that is one of the best compliments to writers, don't you think? When your response, good or bad, is immediate and truthful... Words Count! Especially those given to complement the writer's words... I've read a number of Mary Lynn's books and have that same type of emotional response... She's a special lady and a quite memorable author...
