"Is that Kasey?" She heard Kimi whisper in her ear.

She squint her eyes, trying to see the boy she used to play with. But she couldn't. There must be some mistake

...until he narrowed his eyes and blew an air kiss. She pretended to grab it and placed her hand on top of her pounding chest. A smile settled on his face as he slid one hand into his dark demin pockets; allowing his silvery eyes to bore inside her.

"Don't tell me you forgot already?"

She shook her head faintly and watched him load the luggage in the trunk of his car. "I never forget a face."

She glanced at Kimi again and rushed to hug her one more time before entered the passenger side of his car. Both cried and waved as she drove off the campus ground. She tried to see the positive side of being a pink maiden, like her mother would repetitively tell her. After all, she was selected out of thousands to attend the academy. So, that had to count for something.

...even though she didn't care for it.

"You ok?"

She searched his fine eyes for the longest time and felt something fluttering inside her stomach. Her face began warming up as a respond and all she could was smile out of embarrassment. She could just imagine how pink she was getting. And all because he decided to sudden become handsome.

"Absolutely," She said softly. "Just surprised."

His smirk caused her to smile which caused him to smile and ending in both of them laughing. Thankfully easing her back into her old self. "No really, what about?"

"You look...better," She nodded. "From the last time that is."

"So do you," He drove the car right into the lightly-crowded highway. "Did you do something with your hair?" And as he said the last part, he quickly ran his hand through her long, pink tresses.

"No," She said with a wide smile. "But I did do something differently." He met her in the eye for a few seconds before looking back on the highway. "I am a pink maiden."
