A Woman On Top Of Her Game

Hey they call me Mrs. Black or Justine Black and yes I am a woman that is on top of her/my game. Let me explain to you what that means so that you can get a better understanding of where I am coming from ok.  So sit back you are in for a ride. First I am a woman that has been through the ups and downs in life just like any other woman. I have seen the drugs and the drinking arena; I have seen the crime the jail house and child protective services knocking at my door. I have been on hand and knees and on my face before the lord. I have seen the street sleeping in a car, I have been to the homeless shelter me and my kids, I have been abused and misused in all shapes and forms. I have been down and out and on my last dime. No food no money just enough to get by day by day, week by week and month by month. Ladies I have been to hell in a hand bag and back many times that I just can not count  them on my fingers. I lived in a rat infested house. I have lived in a roach infested and mice infested house and yes my home was tore up from the floor up. And you know something I even lived in the projects and yes I got food stamps and a check from welfare, I was pimping my body to satisfy my self because I wanted someone to love me. I ran guys like they ran the women in my day. Yes if you ask me if I had a real good relationship and the answer to that is no. if you ask me well you have children you must have loved someone. To answer that the answer would be I thought that I loved him, girl my kids are not by the same man, I told you I am just like the normal average woman out here that has more than one baby daddy.  This is the world we live in today, but I am a woman that has wore  the weight of a lot of things in my 35 years on this earth. And I have a story to tell you. Today I am a Woman That Is On Top Of Her Game! And what that means I am going after what I see before me and that is my dreams my goals, my vision and what ever God has for me. I stood still for so long and did nothing with the gifts that God has placed in me. I took in all the pain that a woman could have gone through. I look the devil in his eyes and told him that I am what God says that I am. I took hits and blows for too long. I sat still and said nothing with my shy voice so low that others could not here what I had to say. I wore the clothes of brokenness for to long and it is time for me to get up from the deep blue sea and come out on top. It is time for me to take a stand for what I want in life for my family. Yes I am a single mother and until God sends my Boaz I will stay married to God. Girls let me tell you something you better stop beating yourself up and let that man know who you are. Until you know that you are worth more than the weight of gold itself you will stay where you at in life. Ladies it is time to get up and make your voice known through out the nation. It is time for you to be  a woman on top of her games. We only have two month to go before 2009 comes so it it still not to late to wipe the dust from off your eyes and ask God to uncover that which was hidden from you for so long. It is time to kick off those old rusty blue shoes and put on some sexy black hills and put on your best an step it up a notch and get out there. Oh by the way put that makeup on, if you don’t ware any that is fine, but look your best because you are God’s Best. You are not a rat that runs after the scrape on the floor; you are not a dog that runs after a fire truck. I do not know what he or they called you in the past, but we are living in the future so WAKE UP!

I am not say beat your head in, but please do me this one thing look yourself in the mirror and see you for you, not what other would see you. I walk around and I am a person that will dare myself to do something new each week. Yes I say to myself I will give that a try hey what I got to lose and nothing I would say. I keep an open mind about things and things keep an open mind about me. I go after what I want so should you. You want a record deal hey try go after it. You want to become a movie star give it a try. You want to explore the woruls hey why not. You would like to meet and network with a lot of people go for it. What is it going to hurt; oh I forgot you tell yourself you can not do this. So since you tell your mind that, that is what you will think for the rest of your life. The word can’t should not be in your head, but I understand if you all your life heard those words coming from people that you loved and cared about it is going to be hard to change. Wait a second no it is not, if you tell yourself that you can then you will. Postive will run the negative out of your mind then you alone will be able to fill your self with the positive things then get around some people that want to see you be the best that God has made you. I know this may seem to hard it was hard for me at first. Yes home girl I use to tell myself tht I can not and what I could not do. Until I got my but back in church and I stop hanging around a bunch of no good for nothins as my father would call them. I put myself around people postive people that had vision on them, an that is how I filled my mind with I can I will and I shall be come all that God created me to be. Am I getting on your bad side yet, I hope not . All I am trying to say is that you are a special kind of lady, that is what I see I am to. We all are special women in Gods eye. And it is going to take a special kind of guy to fill the shoes that God has placed on the doorstep. And trust me the wait is worth it. I understand that we may or may not be on the same level that is ok as well. I am not trying to say that I am better than you, so please do not think that I am not perfect in any way, Lord know that I have issue to and he is still working on me. So this is what I have to say so far, but stay tuned in the next issue as I talk more about Becoming a WOMAN ON TOP OF HER GAME. Until then you stay sweet keep your head up and you are a woman that has a great life ahead of you.
