This is what happens when you take a nap in class. This is a bit spooky! Non-fiction

Jennie thought she must have the most boring life of all time as she sat at her desk in her 6th period class at Mags Middle School.  Mrs. Wooder was droning on about complete subjects and complete verbs of which Jennie secretly wished she would lose her complete head and it would fall off her complete body right now! Jennie giggled.  Jennie was very tired, she had stayed up way too late the night before watching a favorite scary movie.

Jennie decided to put her head down on her desk and try to take a quick nap hoping Mrs. Wooder wouldn't notice. Jennie found herself in a world she had never seen before.  She tried to look around but all she could see was darkness and shadows.  She called out. "Hello! Hello! Is anyone there?"  Where am I wondered Jennie, if this is a dream she thought it wasn't a very good one. All of a sudden a hand reached out to her and grabbed her.  The hand started pulling Jennie towards a place that she could not see.  Jennie started yelling.."hey! Stop that! Who are you? Let go of me!" Jennie was usually very brave and never got scared of anything but Jennie started being afraid, very afraid.  Jennie was being pulled and yanked on by many hands now, there were hands pulling on her from all directions.  One hand had her legs, one hand had her arm and then another one had her other arm and now one was pulling her head. "Ow! That hurts Jennie screamed out. Let go of me! Ow!"  Jennie wished she could see something, see anything really. It was so dark and Jennie had no idea what was going on.  Jennie started to cry. Jennie was really scared now and then she started hearing voices. These voices were telling her to come this way. One voice on the left sneered at Jennie and said.."come, Jennie, come with me"..."Jennie, come, come with me"...Jennie cried out.."no! I will not come with you, I just want to go home, I just want to wake up!" Then Jennie heard a voice from below her hissing at her at with a very deep growling voice say to her.."Jennie, you must come this way, you have to Jennie you have no other choice, Jennie come now!" Jennie struggled to break free from the hands that were clinching her legs. Jennie struggled with all the strength she had but could not break free from their grip. Jennie told the voice below her.."go away! leave me alone!" Jennie started to scream now with all of her might. "Someone help me! Someone help me! They won't let go! They won't let go! Please can someone help me!"  Jennie felt like her body would break at any moment if they kept pulling on her at different directions and she felt the pain of the hands pulling and pulling at her.

Jennie then noticed a tiny light in the distance.  Jennie cried out.."hello! Is anyone there? Can you help me, please? Please help me!"  The light started getting bigger and bigger and Jennie felt better now. Jennie looked and could see the things that had gripped her hands and feet and they were dark and slimy and their faces were smudged together and their mouths were only huge teeth.  Jennie could not make out if they had a body. These things seemed to be made out of liquid because they were melting away from her. Jennie started running toward the light. Jennie did not look back because she did not want to see those things that had trapped her. The things were now screaming in agony. They seemed to be in intense pain. Their screams were horrifying and Jennie began to run faster and faster toward the light.

Jennie looked around. Everything around was lit up like the sun was shining brighter than she had ever seen. Jennie felt warm and like everything was going to be alright now. Jennie heard a voice. This voice was soothing and sounded almost like a waterfall and Jennie looked up. There was a wonderful being standing in front of Jennie. This being she thought had to be an angel. This angel was all light it seemed, and didn't have a normal body but just a form all lit up it seemed from the inside. This angel was very very tall and Jennie had to stretch her neck to try and make out his face. The angel had a face although Jennie couldn't see anything but the form of one. The angel said to Jennie.."Jennie I am your guardian angel and I have been with you all of your life. You have nothing to fear, because I am always with you."

Ding! Ding! The bell rung for the end of the school day. Jennie raised her head only to be looking straight into the face of Mrs. Wooder.  "Jennie, you must not sleep in class" Mrs. Wooder exclaimed. "Jennie you must stay awake, do you need to go to guidance before you leave class today?" Jennie told Mrs. Wooder, "no mam I do not and please I will not do it anymore ok?" Mrs. Wooder looked at Jennie with concern and said, "well ok, but if this happens again, we must have a talk." Jennie quickly left class and knew that for once in her life she told a teacher the truth.
