Charismatic, hmm, yes magnetic appeal! How few we see walking about in our midst this day, exuding such attributes painted in rare.
Charisma
Yes, poets, preachers and presidents alike, have one adorning similarity that weaves them in remembrance, yes, most such as these, publish words of eloquence woven in likeness of might truth and bold.
Reformers, some spawned of a heart, ignited by selfless desire, whilst others embark upon such fame, enticed only by the allure of ambition riding hungry and high in heart.
Charismatic, I think most agree these are not, at least as mass goes, for few yes among these many in mass, stand head and shoulders above most others, hence acquiring this title of charismatic seldom seen.
Charismatic, hmm, yes magnetic appeal! How few we see walking about in our midst this day, exuding such attributes painted in rare. Oh, we got plenty of famous, fame glitters quick like falling stars, yet few there remain among us whose charm lasts beyond.
I remember John F, I believe he wielded this awed power, yes Elvis and Marilyn close second in hand, certainly Dear Martin stood cloaked in such charm, yet, as for others, well, I guess I just don't know?
It seems if charismatic is good, and we've got lots of folk, that it would stand in more prevalence, than a count on one hand. Where are the charismatic about us this day in time, where stands the charm abounding that made an Abe president indeed?
Have the politicians, and preachers and presidents alike, had the world now see through them, and view what's inside? I speak not of popularity this day, for that all of name do possess, but I speak of golden qualities that shower few it seems this day.
Charisma, hmm, have you met one lately that fits the bill I ask? My grandpa Abel was charismatic, there is no doubt about that! Yes, he was a preacher, a missionary in Japan for years, I adored him when but a young lad, when he would visit us so rare, and the flocks droves of people, would come from everywhere! He laughed like an angel in high pitched tenor tones, and his face shone in a radiance that few men have worn.
I remember once, oh about twelve years or so, I stood in age, he lingered in his mid eighties, a bit slow, due to age, he was invited to speak at our church large and big! Hundreds of people sitting in stoic and proper grim. He stood not as them, as he approached the pulpit, both sprawling and vast, for he was a happy man, filled with such glee. My heart turned to butter, as he muttered his first words, I fear in shameful confession, that I thought he might fumble and roam.
He stood there in silence, his face painted in peace, then he smiled as he opened the word for his piece, he then looked up and smiled, large sincere smile it was, and I witnessed charismatic, for the first time of life! The crowd of four hundred all stoic painted gray, collapsed in instant wonderment as the gray haze did dissipate. For as Grandpa began yes to speak, the joy was contagious bringing laughter so sweet! It was the only time in all my years in that church, I had heard the spirit of freedom and joy sound, the heavy blanket of somber instantly swept away, the colors of spirit changing quick into day.
I never have experienced just greatness in man, as my Grandpa pushing ninety stood grand that bright day. Charisma imbued every turn of his head, while the smile he cast, could have resurrected the dead! Charismatic was his mantle, his heart framed in the same, as I watched my first lesson in greatness arrayed. My Uncle Paul, his son, so like him, stands in similar grace and adorned attire of garb, my oh my, what causes such grandeur indeed to stand so tall in such men?
Where are the charismatic among us this day I ask? Was Charisma left in yesterdays sun, now wilted faded and drawn? Where lies the charismatic essence once planted upon men, that would allow others to follow them into battle untold? Has Charisma vanished, to be found no more among men? I see it rarely, how about you?
Yes, my Grandpa Abel, he possessed this true trait, Ah, if only he were here still, to help lead us in the way. Do you know of any where guile stands not in their way, so the true breath of Charisma can be cast in the way? For I sure could use a big dose of that good old fashioned Charisma stuff, that once stood in the day.
Yes, John, Martin, and my dear Grandpa too! They loosed upon manhood, what truly was due...yes, Charisma, sprinkled upon the soul of mankind, allowing us to see in grand lite indeed.
