The truth is not what we suspect to be true ; Truth is only what is clearly and explicitly written in God's Word, and we must believe only what the scriptures clearly state!

There are even some so-called Christians who, citing the fact that the word "trinity" is found nowhere in the Bible, and because the concept of three persons in one God is impossible for our human minds to comprehend, teach that there is really no such thing as the triune God, or three persons in one God.

But God does not deceive, and neither is He divided about the truth of any doctrinal issue! Every answer to every doctrinal conflict can be found in God's Word, and every member of Christ's Body can be reconciled to every other member under the one Truth about it.

Any religion, denomination, or person that believes and/or teaches that Jesus is anything less than God is in fact denying Him, and is therefore a heretic!

Cults, false religions, false teachers and false prophets want to rob Jesus of His Deity, His God nature. They want you to believe that they can read between the lines, or fill in the blanks, of scripture to get the "inside scoop" and shed doubt on the Truth. This is the method of Satan, the father of lies, which is also how he deceived Eve. Satan takes the things of God's Kingdom and perverts them for use in his kingdom of darkness.

There can only be one Truth about anything. If there were two "truths" that contradict each other, then either one or the other is false, or they're both false, but they both can't be true !

Some "Christian" denominations have whole other books and/or writings or teachings that they uphold in addition to the Bible that contain information which actually contradicts Bible scriptures. I ask them, then: Which will you believe? You have to pick one or the other, because they can't both be true . Keep God's Word, the Bible, and throw the other in the garbage where it belongs! Anything that contains a lie is in itself a lie. "A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump."

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost are all God according to the Bible. This is a Truth that is impossible for the human mind to fully understand, but is nevertheless the clear and explicit Truth divinely inspired by God Himself!

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness unto him;..." (1 Corinthians 2:14, KJV).

The sad fact is that no one can be a true born-again believer in Jesus Christ unless he/she believes the whole Truth about Him according to the clear and explicit scriptures!

The following are many of the scriptures (from the King James Version of the Holy Bible, underlining added) that clearly and explicitly define Jesus as God:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made...And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us... (John 1:1-3,14)

I and my Father are one. (John 10:30) (Jesus speaking)

Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Timothy 1:17) (King refers to Jesus in the immediately preceeding text)

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh... (1 Timothy 3:16)

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men... (1 Timothy 4:10) (Savior is another name for Jesus)

But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, 0 God, is for ever and ever... (Hebrews 1:8)

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)

From just these scriptures, I think it's very plain and unmistakeable that Jesus is God! Anyone who cannot accept this simply doesn't know the scriptures very well, and anyone who professes otherwise is a heretic, plain and simple.
