This article expresses the importance of love and its effect on a person's development.

Love is such an important factor in a person's life and that is in every aspect. Every person wants to love or be loved and that is normal. It is in our nature as human beings to want love and to want to give love. It is amazing how not having that "love" in your life can shape a your development (mentally)as a person. Studies have shown that many serial killers, rapist etc.. lacked the affection of their parents and they appear as heartless or coldblooded people. Now, I am not saying that that is an excuse for their actions. What I am saying is that it definitely contributes to their actions. I, for one can't see how a person can grow up without love in any sense. The most important love is: mother love.

In my opinion this love is the most important of them all. The unique thing about this love is: it can't be duplicated or copied. I truthfully feel that this love is irreplaceable. Once that "mother love" is missing from your life, many people may try to fill the void with drugs, alcohol etc... In actuality, no one can measure up to that "mother love" it is one of a kind. The absence of this love can cause a person to feel as if life doesn't matter (I can only imagine) If you think for a minute, if your mother, the person who gave birth to you, does not show you affection or express her love for you. You will feel that nothing matters and life is not worth living. However, that is not a reason to become heartless it is a reason for change. Can you imagine not being told "I love you" or not being hugged by your parents. I can see how that could shape the way you view your life but someone must stop the cycle. It has also been proven that many times this dysfunction repeats itself. People that were not shown love as children may repeat what was "considered" as normal. Because the reality is, most people show the same affection or the absence of affection that was shown to them. So who will stop the chain? Who will decide that love is all we need to get by or to try to create a world where love is widespread. Not just mother love but love for everyone. It is unity. It is strength, it is what I believe God intended for us to spread, it is LOVE. And it is IMPORTANT!
