An example of such proof of the first coming of Jesus is from Psalms22:16, when King David was speaking in the third person and being inspired by Holy Spirit. 16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. King David wrote this psalm 700 years before the Romans used crucifixion as an inhuman form of execution, yet David knew the details of this form of punishment.

The confirmation of this prophecy is revealed by the Apostle John in John 20:27-29 that he recorded approximately 1070 years after King David wrote the prophecy in the Book of Psalms. 27Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

The resurrection of Jesus was prophesied by King David. He spoke of the death of Jesus and his resurrection. King David spoke of this life changing event almost 1000 years before it took place.

This is recorded in Psalms 16 that was written in approximately 980BC. David was speaking in the third person the words of Jesus, the Messiah. He was thanking His Heavenly Father Yahweh for protecting Him and that His body would not remain dead and would not decay.

The confirmation of the fulfillment of King David’s prophecy about the amazing resurrection of Jesus is recorded in the New Testament Gospel of John 20:24-29. These important verses state, 26Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." 28Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!”

The disciples of Jesus went out into the world to tell the greatest story ever told of how Jesus the Messiah was crucified to pay our sin debt, and was resurrected from the dead with a new body.

The message was so powerful that even the Emperor Constantine of the Roman Empire could not ignore it. Constantine incorporated the Christian beliefs about Jesus into Roman sun god worship called Mithraism.

He developed a new belief system which outlawed any observance of the Biblical Sabbath, the seven Biblical feasts times and all the other Torah instructions given by Father Yahweh that are still valid today.

The Resurrection of Jesus holds the greatest covenant promise of all, that whosoever will accept Jesus as their Master and Savior, and be born of His Spirit, has the confidence of forgiveness of their sins, and eternal life with Jesus and all the redeemed of mankind.
