The seduction challenges you to stop trusting in yourself to be self sufficient, and to really depend on God your Heavenly Father for all your needs. He will provide for you.
This seduction is not really a seduction of a man with a woman. No, this seduction is so subtle it's really the masturbation (stimulating) spirit in disguise that deceives you into thinking you can take care of yourself. It tricks you into becoming self sufficient. You strive so hard to accomplish material wealth and slove your own problems. No prayer life, no time for the word, no time to help anyone, you've become totally self sufficient. Before you know it, God is no where in the picture, and all you have is a form of Godliness and no power.
The busy housewife with such zeal and concern for her household, that boy and girl with so much enthusiasm about completing primary school, the young man and young lady, studing for that degree. Achieving every goal in life,executing every every plan you have devised is excellent. Yet these accomplishments are all void if God is not a part of them. For we ought to live, move and breathe in Him, He is our Creator.
Let us make it our number one priority to seek to know, who God really is, and what His perfect will is for our lives. The answer is through His Son Jesus Christ who is the Door. Can you hear Him? He is ringing the door bell of your heart. Are you willing to answer the Door?As you experience your valleys and the many, many pitfalls of life, the grief, and your most agonizing hour, answering the door bell of your heart is a guarantee. Just as God your Father stood with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego during their fiery furnance experience in the book of Daniel chapter three, if you remain faithful, He will be with you in your greatest trials and temptations. You have this assurance that no human can bind you if God wants you free. You must recognize that these trials and temptations are only temporary. Be thankful that your destiny is in God's Hands, not in man. Purpose in your heart today, to always be faithful to God He is your Provider, your Sustainer, He is your Vindication. He will keep you in His Divine Providential care,extending to you His grace, and most of all His unconditional love. Covering you at all times in His Robe of Righteousness.
