No matter how torn up things may appear to be in your life, there is hope. God makes all things beautiful in His own time. Years ago I suffered this hair loss, and God my Heavenly Father has restored my hair. Many years later,this experience is what inspired this writing. Be encouraged in all that you maybe going through there is hope! Even as you are challenged, be blessed as you read this article, I have lived through this, and you are not alone!!
A young woman with beautiful long, thick black hair suffered suddenly with severe, hormonal imbalance and female complications. On a daily basis after combing her hair, the entire bathroom floor would be covered with locks of her hair. This continued for many years. It was very distressing, even her hairline began thinning, then balding. The Doctors did not have a cure. Instead, a prescription was given to bring the hormones into balance. There were side affects from the medication, which made the loss of hair even greater. The young woman thought she should honor her head, by weaving other hair into hers to continue to look beautiful. Yet she discovered that while her head looked good, underneath, her hair was being thinned out even more, because it was not getting sufficient air. Also this young lady had a tendency not to properly care for the hair underneath. Over a period of many years, the condition of her hair deteriorated to the point of total disgust. One day the young woman looked in the mirror and spoke to her head saying, " Head, God did not create you to look like this." She spoke to the remaining hair, the word of God from the book of Ecclesiastes 3:11 which says " God hath made everything beautiful in His time." This young woman believed that very day, that God would honor her head, by restoring her hair.
In your walk with God, God has established an order in marriage relationships. God, your Abba Father is the head of the husband, and the head of the wife is the husband. As wives, it is time for us to stop the lip service that we give. It is time to stop feeling sorry for ourselves, and having a pity party. Destiny is calling you to get up out of that bed of slumber. The unction of the Lord is upon you to clean your house, and cook every day for your husband, and yes prepare him his breakfast, and even pack him a light lunch. Upon his arrival at home, make sure that you are refreshed and eager to greet him at the door.
The unction of the Lord bids us as wives not to put down our husbands, but to honor our head, displaying the love of Christ in the home. It is time for us as wives to stop fussing and fighting with our husbands. It is time to honor our head. It is a tall order! Yet as you deepen your relationship with Abba Father, through Jesus Christ. You are equipped to receive the discipline, not to rant and rave at your head. Instead answer your head very softly. The word says in Proverbs 15:1 " A soft answer turneth wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. " Wives stop rowing and allow God's love to permeate your whole being. Minister to your husbands, stop telling them that you are sick and have a headache. Yes it's time to stop lying to our husbands , telling them that the " Pastor say" every night we have to go to church. It's time to stay home more and minister to your head. Your head may have had a challenging day! Draw his bath and even, you may give him a bath. Don't stop there: clip his finger and toe-nails, yes grease his scalp too. Pray for him often and listen as he shares with you his dreams. What a difference this will make in your relationship with each other. Even your children will see the oneness and would want to emulate this.
I challenge wives and every expectant wife to honor your head by being submissive, loving and respectful in all circumstances, and in in every situation, that your head will be able to speak of you, as this husband did in Proverbs 31:10-12, which reads " Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies." (11) " The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. (12) " She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life."
May you seek the face of God your Abba Father daily, for His strength and grace furnished with His Love, to make it a lifestyle to nurture not only your natural hair, but also your head. Yes the husband that you promised God that you would love, honor and keep. Don't break the covenant of your marriage! Honor your head, and everything else will line up in your life.
