Let's face it...the United States is not very popular around the world in this economic crises!

Does anyone know how we got to this point?  I have two answers to as to how we got to this point...fraud and greed...and the reader can throw in selfishness just for kicks... 

Militarily...the United States has no foe...so it doesn't have to worry...except for taking potshots from those cowards who call themselves terrorists! 

Wall Street and its greedsters are NOT going to run this country!  Nor will the banking industry...run this country!  America will be run by the U.S. government and the People of America...PERIOD! 

The bickering in the U.S. Congress...between the Red and the Blue...and between the mama's boys and the mama's girls...can only hurt the American people, etc.  I applaud the American people for giving the U.S. Congress such a low grade! 

In the future, I see this trend continuing...that is, of fraud, greed, and add selfish to the mix...and if this happens...the United States can and will go belly-up...and will implode from the inside out!  When a person gets too far into debt...they implode and everything comes apart form the inside out! 

There isn't anyone in the country, including Bill Gates, who understaneds how much a trillion dollars is.  Nobody understands these kind of numbers in the best business schools; the best economists ;   Wall Street; in the White House or the U.S.  Coungrsss.  Nobody understands this kind of money...or this type of red ink, etc. 

It's getting pretty scary, because the Europeans are doing it differently, than the United States...who is spending there way out of the recession, etc.  All we can do is to wait and see!

I live in a one-horse town of Albuquerque, New Mexico, which has a population of about 500,000 including the horse!  Over the last 20 years, some pretty big companies have left town or just closed.  My father worked for General Electric for over 30 years; Motorola has gone; Phillips Semiconductors; AOL call center; Digital; Seamens; EG&G...Trend...all gone!  

For 15 years, I live on the West side of the river, in a small community called Rio Rancho.  Intel is located there, and I had the opportunity to watch the complex grow since 1981.  At one time, Intel employed over 7,000 people...but no more!  The last report I heard, was that Intel now has less than 3,000 employees at this fascility and coming down, etc. 

Analogy:  Because I'm not an economist, I cannot do any predicting on the economy, but I can certainly lend my comments and opinions on where the economy it going...and it doen't look for America!  The analogy I use, is a company I used to work for after my first of six job losses.  It was one of the worst companies I had ever seen or worked for. 

The company was a plastic parts manufacturer, and made everything from a smoke alarm...to plastic television and computer housings, etc. 

But, it was the people (employees/management team), who brought the company down from the inside!  Nevermind the competition and the slow ecomony!  This is the worst place I had ever worked!  Words cannot describe how awful it was.  The negative mentality; the gossip; the put-down and the un-quality and defiance...was the straw that broke the company;s back! 

For over eight months, I worked on returns...and there were a lot of them.  Box after box I opened and went through, to see what the problems were.  Amazed to see parts that wern't even finished;  burned parts; many other defects on parts, etc.  When these parts came back...rejected by the buyer...they usually came back on 18 wheelers! 

The attitude in this place was so bad, that employees would actually throw a coin into one of the boxes of material to make the parts, and when the coin would reach the machine...it would stop!  The machines were sabotaged all the time...by its own workers, etc. 

One day, I went into the men's room...and the reader would not believe what I saw!  Human feces was smeared all over the mirrors; the sinks and the tiled walls in the bathroom, etc.  I had never seen anything like this in my life!  This is the lowest form of human behavior I've ever seen! 

Because of the poor quality of the parts...little by little, the companies began to pull their molds and began to cancell their accounts, etc.  I was there until the last day...when there were only 2 of 33 machines running, etc.  During this time, employees had been laid off little by little, as the work slowed down, etc.  After the parts were made on these two machines...the company closed...and a sign went up outside; FOR SALE

I was going to Hobby Lobby one day, and I noticed two fancy restraunts (of the past) located across the street from each other...and both of them had the glass boarded up!  The American people are tired of greed in this country...either lower your prices...or board up your windows!  The gravy train is over for many of these greedsters posing as businesses, etc. 

 Population:  I don't have an opinion one way or another on this matter, but American's, are going to have to address this issue.  This is where is all starts!  American's are are going to have to decide to limit the size of their families, or to have their children do without, etc.  It's that simple! 

 Immigration;  I don't have an opinion on this subject, either!  But, all American's are going to have to address this subject as well.  We can not find work for Americans...much less for the immigrants that come into this country!  Big problem, and we have to start closing the door, etc.

Foreign Aid:  This is another area the U. S. Government and the People of America have to look at closely.  It seems to me, that the U.S. hands out billions around the world, and we are appreciated less.  Billions have to be cut, and let countries fend for themselves. Because of corruption around the world, it seems to me, that we're just throwing the money down the drain! 

N.A.S.A: The U.S. government is throwing away billions into outer space, and we as a People, have to get our priorities in order.  I, for one, don't believe that we ever landed on the moon to play golf, etc.  We can't even keep a SkyLab or a Shuttle in orbit, and these few jobs are for engineers and high-tech people.  It's all a waste of money right now, and America has to focus on the coming of the boomers, Social Security and Medicare and address the enormous fraud that goes with both entitlements, etc. 

U.S. Congress; The problem of companies moving across the world is simple.  The Congress should not let these Corporations move to other countries!  By doing this, it would provide much-needed jobs for Americans. 

Corruption in the United States:
There's so much corruption in the U.S. government (at all levels), the U.S. Congress; Corporate America and the U.S. citizens themselves...all this will add to the downfall...from the inside, etc. 

 the Amercan States themselves: California is on the verge of falling into the ocean, and taking other States with it!  The people of California have shot themselves in the foot...over and over...and over again!  The way I understand it...it was Proposition 13 way back in 1978, that was signed into law, that requires a 2/3 majority in the Legislature of the State of Calirornis to raise taxes, etc.  Everyone knows, that trying to get 2/3 vote on anything...is difficult to do.  Meanwhile,  Californians continue to suffer...as they shot themselves in the foot...

Here, in the state of New Mexico, Governor Bill Richardson is in his last year of eight year run...and is now a Lame Duck.  He introduced legislation many years ago, to abolish the tax on groceries.  So, New Mexicans have not paid the tax on groceries for years.  But, now that the state in in debt, and in hardship...there is an argument here as to whether or not the grocery tax should come back, to help the state get back on its feet...or possibly under with California!

We live in a country of choices...the reader either chooses to live in a democracy...or a tyranny...the choice is yours! 

In a democracy...everyone has to pitch in with their taxes, to make a democracy work.  If they choose not to pay their taxes...the state in which they live, and the United States will soon go belly-up! 

I choose to pay the grocery tax in my state, because it's the right thing to do.  If I don't do this and help my state recover...I can see the implosion, as I illustrated in that awful company that I worked for years ago...the United States could implode and go belly-up...from the inside!
