I've been in the humor/smile business for over 50 years. Humor has been my life's calling, and I never get tired of putting a smile on somebody's face...and I've done it countless times over the years.

Humor is everywhere...you just have to look for it...

Observation:  In the year 2010, you don't see many women wearing dresses anymore...you see a lot of men wearing them...but not women!

"Start everyday with a smile and get it over with."  W.C. Fields

From: SeniorFitness.com;  What is it about a nice smile that affects people in the way that it does?  Advertisers and marketers have long understood the psychological importance of a smile...people flashing their shiny white teeth under a big bright smile...appear in almost every ad we see.  Smiles are the most immediate way to make an impression.  It shows that you're having a good time...and that you are confident, too.

"A smile confuses an upcoming frown."  Author Unknown

My two-cents; (opinion);  I've never liked being around old people...too grumpy...too gouuchy...to bitchy...too much whining about everything that's wrong with them, etc.  I've never liked being around people who 'act old.'  You know the type...all those 40 and 50 years old people who push their walkers around crying and whining about everything that's wrong with them.  I just don't like being around negative people...young or old!

"People seldom notice old clothes if you are wearing a big smile."  Lee Mildon

I came home from work one day, and I was walking from the car to the front door, when I noticed over in one of the bedroom windows something that was curious, so I went over to take a look.  What I saw in the window, gave me a little chuckle and put a little smile on my face.  The window was cracked and there was a hole in it about the size of a golf ball.  Jason (our son) used his ingenuity to plug the hole in the window, by rolling up a pair of socks and putting the ball of socks in the window to keep the cold wind out...bur-r-r-r-r-r-

On a cold day, I was still smiling when I walked in the front door and thought to myself, "That kid is going to be a rocket scientist when he grows up for sure!"  Bur-r-r-r-r...

I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful."  Raymond Chandler

The difference between a frowning face and a smiling face; A few years ago, I worked for a company, and we had two personnel managers before the company closed.  One of them had one of those million-dollar smiles that made you feel good.  She was the kind of person that would light up the room with her smile.  She was very approachable, took care of your problems, and always made you feel good.

On the other hand, when Gloria (personnel manager) and her family moved to Texas, she was replaced with a woman named Ellen...who was only about 40 years old, but she looked acted like a 70 year old!

In the year that she was there before the company closed, I don't think I ever saw a smile on her face.  All I saw were frowns and more frowns!  She was difficult to be around, and she was not very approachable...I didn't like her at all.

"Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been."  Mark Twain

From: OperationSmile.com;
Healing children's smiles; making the world a better place.  At Operation Smile, we measure ourselves by the joy we see on children's faces.  We're more than a charity.  We're a mobilized force of medical peofessionals and caring hearts who provide a safe , effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformatities.

My two-cents (opinion)  It is said, that a picture is worth a thousand words.  Isn't it a great picture to see a child sporting a big smile?

"A smile is a curve that sets everything straight."  Phyllis Diller

One day, I went into the utility room at home...and I did a double-take...as I noticed Barney the cat in the washing machine.  The cat was not on top of the machine...but inside the machine.  A black cat, with green eyes...looked at me as if to say, "It's time for my bath."  I took Barney out of the washing machine, set him on the floor and sent him on his way.  If the cat was going to get a bath...it was going to be in the bath tub, and not in the washing machine.

Knuckle-Sandwiches for lunch:  I was working as a temporary employee on an assembly line one time, and about ten in the morning, an argument errupted between two employees!  The finger-pointing and shouting began!  They agreed to meet each other outside and settle this at lunch time!

When the lunch bell rang, the two men proceeded outside, crossed the road out in a field and started to swing at each other!  Both were connecting punches and rolling on the ground, and neither one seemed to get the advantage on the other.  When the fight was over, both men were bloodied up and covered with dust!

Both men casually walked back into the company sneering at each other, and went back to work as if nothing had happened!  This was the first time in my life, I had ever seen two people have knuckle-sandwiches for lunch...

I've always had a 'can do' attitude:
At 65 years of age, I can do anything a 30 year old can do...except for maybe...
breathing...

My favorite sentence:
"Oh my...if I could only be 80 again!"

The best opening line to meet a chick I've ever heard;
"Are you from Jemez?"
(pronounced 'Hemez'...Jemez is an Indian pueblo in the state of New Mexico)  Gee...some people have the coolest way with words to meet a chick...

The stupidest question I've ever heard;
"Do they sell walls at Wal-Mart?"
Paris Hilton

"Only wear pantyhose when absolutely necessary.  It's one thing less to spend money on."  Madeleine Albright (former Secretary of State)  And, that goes for the women, too!

One of my favorite humor quotes;
"We humans are a perfect example that God has a sense of humor."  Sabitivo Bungo
