Recent polls indicate, that the American people think the country is headed in the wrong direction. In the direction of Greece and Italy...CORRUPT. This corruption is led by the medical profession; the worthless Congress; federal judges; and any other profession where making BIG money is their goal.
The VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a teaching and training hospital, and after 18 years of going there for my healthcare needs, I have been screwed many times in all my visits. I've wanted to get out of the VA since 1992, and during all those years, I've learned NOT to trust medical people at all.
In 2005, I was hospitalized at the VA Medical Center for over 3 months, and this was the break I was looking for. At the time, I was 62 years of age, so I didn't qualify for Medicare. After my discharge from the VA Hospital, I was found to be disabled, and later, with a two year waiting period on a disability, I was now elegible for Medicare. There are only three ways to get Medicare, and this is one of them. So, what happened here, is the VA helped me get out of the VA.
When I got the letter, advising me that I would now be elegible for Medicare (I was 62 at the time), I couldn't get out of the VA Medical Center fast enough! The wheels of the car were not even touching the pavement, and I was gone. I had to make this decision, while I'm on the young side of OLD AGE. Once, I am 85 years old and senile, I would probably have trouble understanding much of anything.
When I drove out of the VA Medical Center that day, I thought this would be a new beginning for me in healthcare, seven years later in the private sector...I WAS WRONG! The private sector was as BAD or WORSE than the VA Medical Center. My biggest concern in leaving the VA, was the FEAR of guinea-pigging and experimentation, and I think it goes on there...I just can't prove it.

A. Visit my primary doctor...as I may get there...but, I might not come back...
Therefore, the reader is getting all this information from experience...and not from a brochure or a lecture...I've been there...I've done that!
