Some of life's most memorable choices include what career path we will take and who we marry. Even in books and movies, the characters face choices that will determine their fate:

Alice in Wonderland - She had the opportunity to choose the bottle with the label which read, Drink Me which would make her smaller and take the cake inside the box that read, Eat Me. 1

The Matrix- "A harsh reality or a comfortable fantasy?"2
This is what our hero's choices were as he decided between "the red or blue pill."

The Princess Bride- Who can forget the classic scenario of our hero, Wesley (The Man in Black) as he gave his nemesis, Vizzini a choice of drinks: two goblets, one with the deadly poison, Iocaine powder. 3

Fortunately, many of the day-to-day choices we make are not as life-threatening: what meals to cook, what to buy when shopping for food or clothes, or what routes to take in our travel. But, one very important choice everyone has to make is the biggest one of all; in fact, it will determine where we spend eternity.

What will you do with the Lord Jesus Christ?

Those who lovingly accept Him as Lord and Savior will spend eternity in Heaven; those who reject Him will spend eternity in Hell.

I know many people are thinking, If God loves everyone, then surely He wouldn't send anyone to Hell.

God is love.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." 4

Originally, Hell was not created for man, but for Satan and his demons. But due to man's sinful nature which stems back from the disobedience in the Garden of Eden, man is also doomed to a hopeless eternity without the saving power of Jesus Christ.

"He who is not with me is against me..." 5

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 6

God is a gentleman. He longs for us to come to Him; to confess that we are a sinner and to ask for forgiveness through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, but He won't force us. He has given us a free will; to choose life or death, to spend eternity in Heaven or Hell.

Only YOU can make that decision.

"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life." 7
