Revisited 2015!!!
With the Republicans having a
majority in both Houses of the
114th Congress, predictably,
"cutting up" by members of
Congress is likely to make a
record for the Guinness Book.

      With Republicans having a majority in the 114th Congress that is composed of 535 members, 435 in the House of Representatives and 100 in the Senate, there is going to be a lot of  "cutting up" by members of Congress.
      By cutting up is meant acting up, acting foolish or being a fool. Or, as Henry G. Frankfurt, Emeritus professor at Princeton University, in his book titled, "On Bullshit" would describe as bullshitting." If he dosen't, I do.
    Republicans who did a lot of cuting up in the 113th Congress when they had a majority in only the House of Representatives which included passing more than 40 bills to repeal the Affordable Health Care Law, also called Obama Care, that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, in his wisdom, refused to consider for a vote in the Senate, are certain to do much more cutting up - pontificating "all about nothing," at least not about anything of signficance.
     I am calling on Democarts to not allow Republicans to have nearly all the media coverage as they did during trhe 113th Congress. I am also calling on African American Congress members to utilize their equal share of cutting up time. There is a time to speak. I watch TV with disbelief as I observe in the second decade of the twentuy-first century that it is possible to see, hear, or hear about what white Congress persons, men and women, are doing and saying despite the fact that there are 43 African Americans in the House of Representatives and 1 in the Senate and hear practically nothing about what they are doing and saying. African Americans, let me inform you that your constituents expect to hear your messages, what you are doing and saying. African Americans, I plead with you: do not let it be said that you did not use your fair share of cutting up time in the 114th Congress. Do not be invisible. You have a stage; use it. Remember, the late Congressman Adam Clayton Powell used that stage when the number of African Americans in Congress could be counted on one hand.
   I expect and call on President Barack Obama to maintain his equanimity that has characterized his behavior since his  first day as President. Mr. President, let the Democrats do the cutting up and defend the truth about you and your actions when Republicans spew out lies about you and your actions as we can be sure to hear more than before during the 114th Congress.
      Mr. President, I do not have to remind you even though I will. You have more power than any other person in the United States Goverment. It's all about power.. and how it is used.
