I was shocked when I first read your title. I am asking that the title should not prohibit others from reading the article and learning where you are really coming from.
This morning, I listened to two speeches by Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker in the Senate. I'm sure they are joined by many Congress persons in the House with a similar willingness to take on any attempt to turn back history during the Trump administration.
You are right. If Hillary Clinton had won progress for Blacks would continue to be stymied by the conservative Congress like it has been for the past two Obama administrations where Blacks generally expected him to carry all the weight when it came to improving civil rights.
Now that Trump and the conservatives are totally in control, we probably will see an insurgence in Martin Luther King style positive and nonviolent demonstration revealing the plight of black people and others discriminated against that has not been seen since the 1960s when the civil rights act was passed.
