Yes, it has been, and still is a very long road for all of the people of the earth to be equal participants in the process of living. Good always prevails over evil. But it always seems to take a lot longer than anyone would expect. Sometimes it takes repeated atrocities before the mind says, "No more." And then, there is the problem of history repeating itself when the newer generation, filled with slogans but not knowing the bend of history, seems to want to repeat atrocities of the past that were long forgotten.
