Hit  by  a  knockout  punch!  Shocked!
Overwhelmed! Devastated! a terrible thing
has happened to me! Why? I have experienced
a loss and I am at a loss. My denial that this
really happened is followed by the stark reality
that I can no longer deny. I am angry and hurt.
I am wounded and in pain.

But after my initial reaction to a blow that
desturbed my sanity, then what? This is for
real. I face reality, express thanks to God,
as I realize it could have been worse, access
my situation, evaluate my options and with
courage do what I intuitively know to be best.

With a healthy attitude and unwavering faith
I search for the blessing this blow delivered
to me. To this end, I am as adamant as was
Jacob, who after having wrestled with an
angel all night informed the angel that
I will not let you go until you bless me.

Abiding in the now and the flow where the
soul grows I am unafraid and without any
feelings of deprivation or a consciousness
of scarcity. For I know, in a very definite
way, that life is better for me because I took
the blow.
