Can you conceive of or imagine
a nonsystem?
How do we get from a system to
a nonsystem?
We do it by the process called
"desystemization." which is the
neutralization or destruction of
the ethos that sustainss the
system. Only desystemizaiton,
a revolutionary and creative
confrontational approach to
institutionalized living, can
produce a radical change that
affects a transformatiion of society.
Desysteization then is the
pregnancy or conceptualization
that gives birth to Community Being. Succinctly, Community
Being is the practice of community.

Attitudes are the hardest to change. You're right about people feeling helpless when faced with the "system," feeling they have no other choice. But poets and critics can reveal the truth to the people if only the people will rally, like you suggest around a new idea and get things changed.
