A sermon.It is true that a person or nation
will reap according to what is sowed.

    "There will be a time of trouble. Such as never was since there was a nation. Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered. Everyone who is found written in the book." Daniel 12:1 NKJV
     "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord." Romans 12:19 KJV
American Exceptionalism
American exceptionalism is a theory that the United States is inherently different from that of other nations, and does not conform to the norm. In political terms it means that the United States excels and is better than other political systems, meaning that people in the United States are better off than people in other countries. But in actuality it has to mean the United States with four percent of the world's population has twenty-five percent of the world's prisoners, at present in the first quarter of the twenty-first century when  the coronavirus is throughout the world, the United States has twenty-five percent of the deaths in the world from the coronavirus, and could it mean that in the name of law and order African American men and boys, as evidenced in the police killing of George Floyd are murdered five times more than caucasian men and boys. Whatever else American exceptionalism is, it has to be the aforementioned because things cited above are as American as apple pie or, some would say, baseball.
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics African Americans constitute 38 percent of the 25 perent of  world's prison population owned by the United States, even though they are only 13 percent of the United States population. A huge percentage of blacks in prisons are there on drug charges. It is the U.S. Goverment, not blacks apprehended with drugs, that is responsibe for allowing drugs to be brought across the Rio Grande River from Mexico into Texas. When I lived in Califrornia it was discovered that Government agencies were responsible for drugs brought to Watts California.The United States Government allows drugs to come from Mexico and Canada into the United States. President Donad Trump cry "China coronavirus!" Yet, he cannot, maybe not wiling to, prevent visible drugs from coming into the United States.The blaming game will not pevent deaths caused by the coronavrus. President William Bill Clinton is also responsible for the huge number of blacks sent to prison during the last twenty years. He signed into law the "three strikes and you go to prison law."
Payday someday: that day may be sooner than later. 
Martin Luther King, Jr. Let me insert, I was King's first Civil Rights secretary. Four days after Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give her bus seat to a white person eighteen African Americans, most of them ministers, including King and myself, Uriah J. Fields, founded the Montgomery Improvement Association (MIA) that conducted the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Occasionally, King, even during some MIA Executive Board meetings, exclaimed, paraphrasing a statement made in a sermon preached in 1853 by abolitionist Theodore Parker, a decade before President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 which said, "I don't pretend to understand the moral universe, the arc is a long one." King powerfully paraphrased it to say, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."
Retribution
Justice often means retribution. In other words it means that payday some day is inescapable, although it may be a long time coming. What is retribution? Retribution is based on the concept of lex talionis - that is, the law of retaliation. At its core is the principle of equal and direct retribution, as expressed in Exodus 21:24 as "an eye for an eye," meaning destroying the person's eye who destroyed another person's eye.
Also germane to understanding retribution is the  wisdom of this Scripture, "You shall not bow down to them nor worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers  upon the children to the third and fourth  generations of  those who hate me." Deuteronomy 5:9  NIV. Like the days of Creation, as to how long was a day, as we understand a day, the same is true as to how long is a generation. Some people say 30 or 35 years. I will not say. What I will say is the truth of what will occur during the third and fourth generations, as  proclaimed in the cited Scriptures.
Coronavirus
It appears that the invisible coronavirus has all the characteristics and power to be a retribution phenomenon that fulfills all these Scriptures cited above, to make someone and someones pay for the evils that have taken place in this land we call the United States of America that include the evils done to the so-called American Indians..Never mind that no one ever asked them their name, and for 246 years of enslavement of kidnapped Africans and their descendants who provided unrequited labor that enriched slave masters and their descendants, guaranteeing white privilege, Jim Crow, racial segregation and disfranchisement as a way of life for Americans that is even in vogue today.
As cited above, inhumane treatment of so-called American Indians, the enslavement of Africans and their descendants have to be in part what constitute American exceptionalism as evidenced in these facts that exist as I write this article. The United States with four percent of the world's population has twenty-five percent of the world's deaths from the coronavirus with no end to this invisible monster in sight. It is true , the sins of an individual or nation will face reckoning. Military might cannot attack this invisible conronavirus. "It is not by might but by my Spirit, says the Lord."
My Reflection
My reflection is not to inform you as to what you, the reader of this discourse, should think or do. But rather to let you know what has been revealed by the prophets and to me. So, do not be surprised or astonished by what lies ahead in the immediate future and beyond. As a matter of fact, it is already happening in the present. However, it is possible for a person to have eyes and not see or ears and not hear. This does not change reality.
I did not wish to write this message, but I could not avoid doing so, no matter how hard I tried. What I wanted to do was not what Providence wanted me to do. Providence won. "Not my will but His will be done," is my ultimate desire.
Remember Daniel 12:1 "...And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book." Are you written in the book?
