Pete Buttigieg selected by President
Biden to be Transportation Secretary
openly and unabashedly declares that
he is gay.
President-Elect Joe Biden announced that Pete Buttigieg has been selected to be Transportation Secretary. Buttigieg has served as an officer in the Navy and a former mayor of South Bend, Indiana. He was a candidate during the 2020 Democratic presidential election, as was Joe Biden.
In the minds of some people the most significant thing about Buttigieg is that he is an openly gay person, and there are people who believe that disqualifies him to serve in the President's cabinet. It is because of the conversations about Buttigieg that I have been led to write this article.
In the Bible there is a term or name called eunuch which means what people today refer to as gay or more correctly, homosexual. And I quote:
"For there are eunuchs, who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to receive this, let him receive it"
- Matthew 19:12 RSV
Eunuchs are neither completely males or females. Some of them are transgender. Carl Jung used the terms anima and animus to talk about the feminine parts of man's personality and animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman.
Robert Louis Stephenson informs us that: "There is so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it ill behooves any of us not to talk about the rest of us." Applying this understanding to the human gender matter we may say, "There is so much masculine in the female of us, and so much feminine in the male of us that it scarcely behooves any of us not to talk, especially disparagingly, about any of us."
My reflection on the matter of homosexuality is expressed in an article I published more than a decade ago titled, "Why I Support Same-Sex Marriage," which may be timely to present in light of the fact President Biden has selected openly gay and personally declared happily married Buttigieg for Transportation Secretary. Many heterosexual married couples cannot speak admirably about their partners as Buttigieg has spoken of his marital partner.

To compare eunuchs, who were most often men castrated to oversee the harem of a king, to the arrogant, belligerent sodomite of today is beyond wrong, Sir. It is obscene.
Most opponents of Buttigieg, do not reject him because of his chosen sin, but because his policies are deadly, wasteful and ignorant, failing to comprehend human nature. Is it any wonder then, that Democrats endlessly bloviate about "progress" while referring to policies that represent a 2000-year moral and civic regression?
Rail against truth all you want, it will prevail long after all of us are long forgotten. A mind is indeed, a terrible thing to waste, as you illustrate here.
