Are you a thermometer-attuned or thermostat-attuned person or,are you attuned to some other instrument?

Behaviors of people are usually attuned to meassurements of the thermometer or thermostat, the same as the temperature.
The thermometer is an instrument that measures the existing temperature, changing only when the temperature changes and measuring what is at any time. The thermostat is an instrument that automatically regulates temperature or activates a device when the temperature reaches a certain point. It is also a similar device that activates fire alarms. Both the themometer and thermostat are cause and effect prescribed

The differences between the two are: the thermometer measures the existing temperature without changing the environment while the thermostat changes the temperature to a measurement different from the existing one if set at a temperature different than the existing temperature.
For instance, if the temperature of a room is thirty degrees the thermometer will register thirty degrees. If a room is thirty degrees the thermostat set to seventy degrees will bring the temperature of the room to seventy degrees and if the temperature decreases below seventy degrees it will activate or reactivate to restore the temperature of the room to seventy degrees. Of course, when the room temperature is above seventy degrees the thermostat will not activate to bring the temperature down to seventy degrees.
Applying these two instruments to human behavior, we can say the thermometer-attuned person behaves according to his environment while the thermostat-attuned person changes the temperature of his environment when it is not the desired temperature. For instance, if he, the thermostat-attuned person, is in a negative environment he may choose a positive way of being.
Both, the thermometer-attuned and thermostat-attumed person may at times register negative or unhealthy ways of behaving. If the thermostat-attuned person is set at an undesirable point it can, like the thermometer-attuned person, result in a person behaving negatively or destructively.
There is an alternative and a better measurement determinant than the thermometer-attuned  and thermostat-attuned ways of being. This alternative way of being is spiritual transcendence. This alternative way of being is not governed by cause and effect, even when it appear to be. It reflects the very highest and most inclusive or holistic levels of human consciousness which is God-consciousness. It is faith-centered and beyond human experience that is based on the cause and effect syndrome. An example of this is "talking with God or listening to God talk." Unlike thermometer-attuned and thermostat-attuned persons' ways of behaving the spiritual transcendence person's way of being transcends cause and effect. In this case when an airplane crashed with fifty people on board forty-nine of them died but the one transcendentally- attuned person survived without being harmed. Spiritual transcendence cannot be achieved by striving for it. It is grace-gifted and faith-centered. So don't swim, float. Do it easy.
