The grandmother, daughter, and granddaughter team answered the call to speak before an assemblage of praying women during the closing Luncheon at the national conference.  Allen, who often uses her God-given speaking talent to deliver the keynote address, bought the topic, “Are You Part of the Construction” to light.  Her mother and daughter participated in the presentation with Ford introducing the trio and giving the history of how the team got started, and Ferguson performing a rousing vocal selection after she elaborated on her thoughts.  Ferguson is also a classically trained soprano and performs regularly with opera companies all over the country.

The native New Yorkers and past teachers are in demand as speakers and are often invited to present at women’s conferences, teas, Mother-daughter events, and Women’s Day.  They also accept invitations from sororities, associations, as well as religious organizations.

Made popular by their award-winning collection of family expressions and famous sayings, “Pearls of Wisdom from Three Generations” (Thelemaque Publishing 2003) which helped catapult them into the limelight, the team tailor make their presentations to suit the organization.  Now in her eighties, the elder Ford enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and share their voice to the masses through both their speaking engagements as well as their weekly advice column, “Ask Pearls of Wisdom”.
