Hi folks,

With regard to trading vs calendar days,
... there's arguments to monitor both of
these time frames, as some markets will
respond to cycles in trading days, while
others can be more easily detected in
calendar days.

There's a lot to be said for tracking
calendar days, mainly because the
influences and human responses to any
situation are not turned off on weekends
and holidays ..... this can often be
seen, where markets will reverse to the
downside from the open on a Monday, even
though they finished strongly on the
previous Friday .....

..... so what happened over the weekend?

Probably a cycle, critical to that
particular market, fell due.

As far as doing computer searches for
market-to-planetary correlations
is concerned .....

..... yes, you WILL find many matches
and you may well be able to devise a
some profitable trading plan from
the results.

... but computers and their programs
are only as good as the information
being fed into them.

There's some things that computers
have not been able to reveal up to
this point in time.

Take the bible codes for example,
Dr Rips & other Israelis have spent
countless thousands of hours of
computer time analyzing the ELS
codes in the Hebrew bible.

This research has resulted in
relatively few words being located
compared to the many thousands
of words that they have analyzed,
by computer.

... and so it is with market analysis.
By computer analysis, so far the
overall picture is still foggy.

planetary cycles ... there's details,
about planetary cycles, that computers
have not been able to uncover, yet.

Gann did not have a computer, but he
did have access to some bible codes
that have not even been considered
by the bible code analysts, YET !~!
