Sector rotation is a common phenomena
in the marketplace and some share
traders, who know WHEN certain
industries will shine, can make some
very profitable trades !~!

Here, we look at the longer-term cycle
of planet Uranus and how we can use its
movements to anticipate sector rotation,
going into 2004 .....

Hi folks,

Over the past few years, it has become evident,
that there's a need for some help, in sorting
out REAL astrological necessities for
astrotraders.

As astrotrading is a relatively recent addition
to the various divisions of astrology, we can
see that many tools used in the early days of
business and financial astrology, have been
taken directly from Natal or Genethliacal
Astrology.

In the 1800's, there was a push by astrologers,
like Sepharial, to have financial astrology
moved onto a more scientific footing, through
the use of simple mathematics and geometry ...
..... all the God-given parts of astrology.

This left a bitter taste, with some of Sepharial's
contemporaries, to the point where he was asked
to resign from the Royal Astronomical Society
of Great Britain. It seems Sepharial's promotion
of known astronomical equations into the vague
world of astrological interpretations did not
fit well with astronomers of the day.

As a rebuttal, Sepharial joined a similar body
of astronomers in France, Societe Astronomique.

Later, his work was recognised in his home
country and he was then permitted to join
Astronomical Society of Great Britain, where
he remained a member, until his death in 1930.

-----

In the early part of last century, the skeptics
had a field day pointing out the short-comings
of astrology ... mostly based on incorrect
interpretations by astrologers ... that's the
man-made stuff.

It is little wonder that writers and traders,
like Gann, refrained from publicly acknowledging
the use of astrology, in their trading plan.

-----

..... how can astroanalysis gain credibility with traders?

For financial astrology to succeed, as a credible
tool in market timing, we must be able to
demonstrate consistent accuracy, over sustained
periods and furthermore it must be PRACTICAL,
unambiguous and EASY for traders to apply.

To achieve these ends, we can look to the works
of former great astrologers to guide us along
the ecliptic and guide us in developing new
astrotools for traders.

William Lilly, Thomas Aquinas, Paul Choisnard,
Jerome Cardan, Tycho Brahe, John Napier,
John Kepler, Sepharial, Francis Bacon,
John Flamsteed and many more have made
significant written contributions to the
development of astronomy and astrology,
over recent centuries.

Even great poets, like Geoffrey Chaucer
and Dante have made valuable contributions
in the growth of astrology, as a science.

Though it is quite difficult to source many
of these early books, it is worth the effort
to actively seek them out, as each author
offers a unique perspective of astrology.

-----

Brahe, Lilly and Bacon became famous for
their forecasting ability for significant
events.

It is now evident, that the astrotools used
by these astrologers, were also known to the
ancient scholars and have been passed down
to us, in this century, via the bible codes.

-----

More recently, W D Gann proved to us, that
by looking back at past events and the
associated planetary cycles, we can often
be alert for similar market moves, when
those cycles are repeated.

-----

Many traders have been through the process of
learning in-depth astrology, before they start
trading ..... and many fall by the wayside.

Truth is:

Learning about astrology is a lifelong
process ..... having the DISCIPLINE to
maintain the study is the most difficult
assignment.

Those without the DISCIPLINE to study and
obey their own trading plan, soon fall by
the wayside, very quickly.

A search of the internet will reveal many
thousands of pages of basic information
about personal astrology ..... but it
will take some effort to learn it properly.

A few books that may help you, are:

"ISBA Book" by 12 prominent ISBA business
and financial astrologers provides a sound
foundation of experience, for traders to
build upon.

"Business Astrology 101" by Georgia Stathis
- this is a good book to get a historical
perspective behind business/financial
astrology.

"First Steps to Astrology" by Bernadette
Brady ISBN: 1 86476 049 4
A handy pocket-sized book to make light
work of astrological essentials.

"The Complete Idiot's Guide to Astrology"
by Madeline Gerwick-Brodeur ..... another
easy-to-read reference book, that will
probably become a core part of your
astrotrading library.

-----

Since financial astrology is really in its
infancy, many of the "accepted" techniques
have been drawn from personal, mundane and
psychological astrology. Very little has
been written that will guide traders with
EASY and PRACTICAL market timing information.

Astrotrading does NOT need to be complicated
to make profitable trades, even in the early
stages.

To prove this, some of my trades are posted
in advance, with charts and some analysis
to demonstrate that SIMPLE astrotools do
work. These are REAL trades, in REAL time,
with REAL money and may be found at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/starcode_traders

Then, my own ebook on market timing has been
written by a trader for traders ..... that
means there's no need for any expensive
software to get started in profitable
astrotrading ..... just a dedication to
understanding the SIMPLE astrotools and
and the DISCIPLINE to develop and obey
your own trading plan.

In my ebook, you will find NEW market
timing concepts that go "beyond Gann",
so with your current level of understanding
of Gann's methods, it will be easy for
you to understand these new tools, for both
TIME and PRICE.

Remember, learning about astrology is a
lifelong process ..... having the DISCIPLINE
to maintain the study is the most difficult
assignment.

Financial astrology is just a small cog in
the cosmic clock ..... but, it does have some
very specific traits of its own ..... traders
just need to learn how to exploit them.

Through 2004, paul yogi nipperess will bring
you some notes from his personal research and
also notable quotes, from other traders and
great astrologers, from the past.

These notes may help to guide you, in the
development of your own profitable astrotrading
plan.

Looking for trading opportunities in 2004 ...?

This time last year, we posted a list of dates
pertaining to the planetary stations of all
retrograde cycles.

Many of these, stations marked key dates in the
marketplace. For example, check January 23, 2003,
where Mercury was on station to go direct ...
... next day was the start of a significant fall,
that lasted for the next 2 months.

Notice, the level of our XJO index, when Mercury
went retrograde on Jan 02,03 and compare it to
the level, when it went direct again, 3 weeks
later, on Jan 23rd, 2003.

..... and there's many more instances throughout
the past trading year, that should highlight
the value of monitoring the retrograde cycles.

-----

Now, at the end of 2003, we witness Uranus at its
ingress into Pisces, an event many of us will see,
just once, in our lifetime.

Astrotraders will be looking for cyclical changes
in some market sectors at this time, particularly
as Uranus moves from a fixed air sign, into a
mutable water sign.

As the security concerns of the past few years
fade into the background of our lives, we will
see many new developments, attainable only, by
the "bridging combination" of hi-tech Uranus
and the flexibility of the mutable Pisces sign.

2004 trading opportunities .....

..... be alert for trading opportunities in drugs,
hi-tech, biotech, energy, beer, telecoms and wine
sectors, as they should pick up again, going into 2004.

"Liquid opportunities" in oil, wine, water, fishing,
pharmaceuticals, shipbuilders, aquaculture, breweries
and distillers, particularly those with hi-tech
processes may provide some clues for trading targets.

Digital photography would also seem to have a
lot of potential, especially with the advances
in broadband networks, that offer very fast
download and retrieval times.

So, until Uranus enters Aries in May 2010, we
can expect some very innovative solutions to
old challenges and the devlopment of some
radical new ideas, in many sciences, including
astrology.

Astrocycles for Business Managers:

Here's a recommended book, that will have
business managers across the globe,
re-evaluating their priorities:

"Management in Astrological Perspective" by
Karen Boesen demonstrates some practical
astroanalysis, by way of specific company
case studies. Company executives and small
business owners will especially benefit
from considering the issues addressed,
in this book.

-----

Astro Business Cycle - Number One:

Let's start our imaginary Global Mystery
Business on January 2nd, 2004 .....

Over many years, astrological studies of
new businesses have revealed some key
annual cycles for business owners.

During these cycles, the management should
be addressing important issues, that all
companies face, year-in, year-out.

Using a 52 day business cycle, we can see
that there's seven of these cycles in
a solar year.

Seven may seem an odd number, but each of
these business cycles is directly related
to Venus movements, throughout the year.

Venus being the ruler of money matters
will determine the underlying nature of
our transactions, but managers can gain
an edge by addressing each cycle in a
methodical manner.

However, from the anniversary of the
business opening every year, we can start
working on the key principles that hold
every business together, by working
through the issues of first 52-day cycle.

BUSINESS CYCLE ONE: Jan 02 - Feb 22, 2004.

During this period, as a manager, you should
be pushing to advance your own interests,
especially with those who have the power or
privilege to grant or give you what you need.

During this time you can ask for favours, in
any area that is of benefit to you. It could
be about employment, benefits, loans,
investments, special concessions that ask for
an extension of time or even dismissals in
court cases.

Dealing with government officials or anybody
in high standing in the community or big
business can see matters of great importance
to you being settled in your favour ..... but
YOU must ask or make your position known to
get a favourable result.

Pushing yourself forward will boost your
personal standing in the community and enhance
your reputation, your name, your honour and
integrity with those who hold high positions
... like bosses, judges, mayors, company
managers, politicians, etc .....

During this period, Venus will be transiting
Aquarius, Pisces and Aries, so we can expect
the management issues above to take on the
relevant traits of each sign, as Venus moves
forward.

-----

Some volumes in the Rosicrucians' library,
will also provide you with further details
about these cycles, but key information,
about the underlying Venus cycle has been
omitted.

-----

Next time, we will look into the second Venus
business cycle for small business and company
managers.

Hope this helps some astrotraders find the LIGHT.

happy trading throught 2004
