Crude oil production down in a thirsty world ..... what's next??
http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/AussieOilers/
Hi folks,
In the short-term, the main concern for
black crude would seem to be, the
continued stability of the governing
regime in Saudi Arabia.
If the terrorist manage to create more
chaos, in Saudi, destablising the
kingdom further, then oil prices will
stay high for a long time.
Uncertainty of delivery for oil supplies
out of Iraq would also help to maintain
high crude priices.
Of course, if there's a marked
improvement in the rebuilding of Iraq's
infrastructure by a UN-led force, then
some presure will ease, as oil exports
increase.
-----
Looking further out, our dependence on
fossil fuels will also gradually change
over many years, as alternative fuel
sources are utilised more extensively.
Over the next decade, we will also see
some very innovative, new power sources
..... like further advances in Tesla's
work in drawing power from a "natural
power" grid ..... amazing work, that
was shouted down by many industrialists
of Tesla's day.
----
Likewise, the oil companies will suddenly
"discover" power sources that they have
discarded in the past, in favour of
continued crude oil production.
One such example will be the expansion of
"white crude" plants, where liquid white
crude is produced from natural gas.
This technique has been known for more
than a decade, yet the explosion in
building these white crude plants has yet
to come ..... maybe, when crude oil has
been trading at $36 for a while, then
demand for white crude will increase
.... still more than 100% profit, as the
modern fuel is now produced for less than
$18 bbl ......
Whichever way we look at it, energy seems
set to remain a hot trading sector for
many years, into the future.
happy trading all
