that are important for the USA.

Hi folks,

We saw the importance of the Mars return in the US natal
chart on 23042004, so let’s take a look at another Mars
return and its association to the Venus and Neptune
retrograde stations on 17052004 ... that will be a Mars
return for New York City and the NYSE anniversary.

On 17 May 2004, financial astrologers will have their attention
focused on New York and on NYSE-listed companies, in particular.

Why so?

Simultaneous Venus/Neptune retrograde cycles are an infrequent
event, being 27 years since the last one, this cycle should be
of great interest to both traders and astrologers alike.

Now, we return to Venus and its retrograde station,
at 26 degrees Geminii on 17 May 2004:


17 May 2004 ... Neptune and Venus on station
to turn retrograde on the same day ... this
day should mark reversals in some oil and gas
stocks, as well as mining stocks and liquid
commodities, like beer and other liquids.


Last time these two planets were retrograde together,
in 1977, we saw this event as a trigger to send crude
oil prices rally for the next 4 years.

Inflation-adjusted crude oil, at the Venus and Neptune
retrograde cycle in 1977, was at $19.04 and by 1981,
inflation-adjusted crude price had risen to $50.94.

During this business cycle, we will be vigilant for changes in
interest rates and prices, that Venus retrograde will likely
bring our way.

With so many major aspects pointing to NYC, we will look to
the Sun, Venus and Mars again, for the some further clues:

Aspects of Venus with the Sun will magnify a financial flavour
to any events around 17052004, while strong Venus aspect to
Pluto may indicate an explosive event, that may be underground
or “hidden” away.

Mars trine to Uranus may indicate a hi-tech link, while both
Cancer and Pisces both indicate a water connection ... such as,
computers damaged by water for example. This may also indicate
the end of some older technology, in favour of some hi-tech
system, too.

Pisces is the sign aligned with secrets and enemies and also
institutions of all kinds, like hospitals and such. At this
time, Uranus is in mutual reception with Neptune, so we will
likely see some strong representation from this quarter, too.

If you doubt the power of a Mars return, just take a look at
my US alert for 23042004 ... since that day, the US markets
have been in a painful correction ... that was triggered by
a Mars return, in the 1776 US natal chart.

Whatever happens in NYC around 17052004, will probably be
costly for the markets and the USA.

..... and, with Venus transiting Mars natal position in the
US chart two more times before August, we are set to revisit
these same issues many times.

In fact, until about 06 August, Venus will be in the grip
of the Pluto opposition for much of that period, so we can
expect more drama in the Middle East and disasters, like the
Korean train wreck.



It is also difficult to ignore all the action in Taurus, the
sign of assets and money ... a connection to the Middle East
here, as well ... particularly Iran.

As you can see there’s a lot more aspects to analyse to get
the full picture, but it seems NYC will be in the firing line
again and very soon, too .....

Of course, we should look at some potential geographic locations,
where we may see some news, to act as a trigger for anticipated
market action:

With Saturn and Mars in close proximity, transiting Cancer, we
might expect news out of Pittsburgh or from the Far East, around
longitudes taking in Burma, Thailand, West Malaysia, Singapore,
Sumatra or Jakarta.

Mars trine to Uranus suggests a hi-tech market may be influenced,
but it is Saturn’s trine and sextile across the Moon’s Nodes that
has built up recent pressure. Most likely places being Israel,
Syria, Turkey and Saudi, though this longitude also runs down
through previous trouble spots in East Africa, like Somalia
and Kenya.

Saturn is also making a biquintile, 144 degrees to Neptune, which
is also reinforces the hi-tech theme, as Neptune is in mutual
reception with Uranus and making Brazil a point of interest, too.

Venus is also involved in negative aspects across the nodes, which
would have us looking at Bangladesh, Nepal or eastern India and
expecting an air or gas-related event, like an aircraft going down?

Trigger for any major event may well be the Moon’s transit across,
the North Node, while the Moon’s trine to Jupiter, earlier in the
day. may be a link to the Pacific Islands.

25 May, 2004:

A lunar link with Hiroshima and 11 Cancer
is not that strong, but 11 Cancer IS opposite
Washington geodetically speaking, making the
Mars/Saturn conjunction on that degree, an
interesting point to monitor.

Next month, Venus makes its second pass over US natal Mars
on 02 June 04, whilst directly opposite Pluto, as well.

You may also remember a previous post mentioning,
the Moon's nodal return for Israel, last month
..... and such events trigger major changes in
the affairs of both individuals and countries,
alike.

At these times individuals may be influenced
greatly, by new people coming into their lives.


Looking at Sharon's position right now, it may
well be a defining time for both him and Israel.

..... using a loose orb of 6 degrees, we have a
Bethlehem Star formed in the zodiac, on June 5th, 2004
..... a sign of the times perhaps, as we end the
last day of our third business cycle.

As we move into June 2004, we look to Venus yet
again for guidance .....

In fact, none of us alive today have seen the next
astroevent associated with the money planet Venus.

On June 8th 2004, a Venus Transit takes place, where
Venus can be seen transiting across the face of the
Sun – last Venus transit was 122 years ago in 1882.
