Trinity and change:

As Christians, we have an enormous toolbox at our disposal, to help us
deal with all the challenges, that we face in our lives.

Our faith has us bound to obedience of God’s laws and belief in the Holy
Trinity, so that we may enjoy God’s Love, Protection and Direction.

Without the Trinity, chaos prevails.

However, on acceptance of Christ as our Saviour, a Christian is enabled
with the spiritual insight, to understand the Triune nature of God and
His knowledge of past, future and present.

Firstly, Almighty God’s theological foreknowledge gives Christians,
HOPE beyond the grave, in the ascension of our being to meet God,
in the future.

Next part of the Trinity, Christologically speaking,
we are always taken back to the past and
reminded of the God’s Great Sacrifice in
sending His Son Jesus Christ into our
world, to take on the burden of our sins
forever, by suffering in the Crucifixion.

Finally, in terms of Pneumatology, the Holy Spirit is God’s gift to all
Christians, after we have accepted Christ as our Saviour. It is the work
of the Holy Spirit to remain with us constantly in the present, guiding us
through the countless decisions we must make in our lifetime.

Without our faith in the platform of the Trinity, it is only too easy for
any man to be constantly led, into sin of all kinds.

In “Christian Counselor’s Manual” p28-30, Jay E Adams speaks of rapid
change in people, considering it a crucial plank in Christian counselling.

of radical change in the personality and the lifestyle of the counsellee.
He believes in conversion and in the sanctifying power of the Spirit !~!

He believes that it is possible for one,
who, because of his sinful nature,

example from early days, to become a
vital Christian possessing the

In summary, if we live by the
philosophy of “doing the best job
possible, with the resources on hand”,
we will often find that we can improve
our lifestyle and relationships, through
changes in attitudes and habits.

To achieve this end, walking in God’s
Light, we can lean on the reliable
source of the Holy Trinity for our
guidance, always.
